The Bigs
Ages 6 - 10 years old
At Bloom, we understand that children crave the freedom to explore their individual interests. Our Before/After care program is designed to give children the structure to build upon essential academic skills while allowing them to thrive in a environment that encourages creativity. Through weekly themes, special projects, and exposure experiences we help our “Bigs” discover their passions, spark their imaginations, and give back to their community.
Weekly themes
Each program consists of its own weekly theme, so that your child has something new to anticipate with each coming week.
Hands-on activities
Our activities are designed to keep your child engaged, whether it’s learning how to draw the solar system, designing a carnival game, or cooking a special recipe. They will always learn and have fun!
Creative learning
Our school age curriculum focuses on social emotional learning, creative arts, and also provides academic support. Topics that are explored include:
Emotion identification and management
Mindfulness strategies that help improve focus, self-regulation, following directions, and empathy.
Problem solving
Self- esteem
Social awareness
Bullying Prevention
Essential life skills
Financial Literacy
